There’s a quaint little corner in downtown Dickson, Tennessee that I’ve passed numerous times. Right at the corner there is an antique store. It is appropriately named “Behind the Times Antiques”.  I’ve never been inside, but it appears to have a lot of neat treasures. The bit of clutter on the outside adds to the appeal.

It’s been a while since I have seen one of these old Tennessee License Plates. I believe these date back to the 1980’s.

This next image is a photo of the building just across the street from the antique store. You can see it in the reflection of the above photo. I really like the brick and the color. It looks to be a business and a home. The old gas pump tells me it may have been some kind of filling station or an automotive repair shop back in the day.

I actually photographed that gas pump about 4 years ago. You can see that image here. The gas at that time was 53 cents a gallon and it contained lead. Boy, have things changed!

This next image is across the street from the building above just behind the antique store. You can tell I was “zig zagging” my way down the street. The architecture of the building below has a bit of a flare. The weathered brick and discoloration adds to its character. This building is definitely an automotive business. I don’t recall what the sign says above the garage doors, but I believe it is a list of services. I took a picture of a ’53 Chevy last year parked just outside those garage doors.  That shot can be seen here. This may be a place that restores cars. One thing for sure, they are Tennessee Titan Fans.
